Capture Events on the Road with the new Uniden 4K Dash Cam

With a compact and contemporary design, Uniden's new range of iGO Cams are intended to provide vehicle owners with additional driver assist features as well as high quality video recording of accidents and other events.

The company say that dash cams are proving increasingly popular among vehicle owners, to capture incidents on the road and when cars are parked, and as added support when on longer journeys or the daily commute.

Driving incidents can be captured in full high definition 1080p, 2K, 2.7K and 4K. With footage lock protection and a wide viewing angle, ranging from 120-150º, drivers can be assured important footage will be recorded in high detail.

Vehicle owners parking on a busy road or street have additional peace of mind via the built in parking sensor, designed to automatically start recording if vehicle motion or vibration is detected. Vehicle owners can benefit from the rear camera on the Uniden 50R and 70R iGo models, providing a complete viewing angle for incidents that occur behind the vehicle using two cameras.

The iGO Cams also incorporate driver assist features such as a large speedo display, speed/red light camera warning, and an advanced driver assist system provides additional safety for long distance drivers and commuters. In addition, things like lane departure warning provides a visual and audio alert when the vehicle drifts over lane marking, while headlight low LUX sensor alert the driver to turn on the headlights when they detect low external lighting conditions.

Footage taken is stored on an SD card, which includes footage protection. For high specification models, WiFi is built-in, allowing users to share footage to a smartphone via the free-to-download Uniden iGO app.

The iGO Cam ranges from the iGO 30, available for $99.95 to the iGO Cam 80 which is available from $279.95. The iGO Cam 40 is $149.95, the iGO Cam 50 and iGO Cam 60 are available for $199.95 and the iGO Cam 70R is available for $299.95.
