Alienware has embraced Nvidia's Max Q graphics configuration with their new Alienware m15 gaming laptop.
According to Ben Jackson, General Manager for Consumer and Small Business at Dell ANZ "as the gaming community evolves, so do the requirements of the devices gamers use. Australian and New Zealand gamers have a high take up of new technology and, like everyone else, are increasingly on the go – whether they’re commuting to and from work or meeting up with friends."
"Our State of Gaming survey discovered that 43% of ANZ gamers love travelling and 60 per cent love spending time with friends, so the demand for a premium, ultra-portable gaming laptop is there."
The new Alienware m15 is available in two colors (Epic Silver & Nebula Red) and is the thinnest Alienware laptop ever, according to Dell. Compared to the Alienware 13, it's 20% lighter and 14% thinner - despite the larger 15.6-inch display.
Spec-wise, the Australian Alienware m15 boasts a 8th Gen Intel Core i7 processor, Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 and 1070 graphics cards plus up to 32GB of RAM.
"With the new Alienware m15 being thinner and lighter without compromising on power and performance, gamers can be confident that their game-play on the go will not only be powerful, but comfortable as well," Jackson says.
Overseas, the Alienware m15 will be priced at a recommended price of US$1299 and available worldwide from October 26. In Australia, prices for the Alienware m15 start at AU$2799. In New Zealand, prices for the Alienware m15 start at NZ$3099
