We ran our review of the Aorus 15 earlier this week but Gigabyte are already looking to replace it .
The new upgraded version of the Aorus 15 boasts a 9th-Gen Intel chipset and 240Hz display in addition to the RTX graphics, Samsung-made RAM, Intel Optane SSD, Killer Wi-Fi adapter and Nahimic sound tech found in the previous model.
The design of the new Gigabyte Aorus 15 doesn't look like a radical reinvention, though the asking price is a little higher for everything outside the 1660Ti SKU.
Gigabyte say that the new 9th-Gen Intel Core i7-9750H CPU inside the gaming laptop is "made for ultra-multi-taskers and gamers who want to play “triple A” games while recording or streaming online."
In Australia, three versions of the new Aorus 15 will be available. These vary by spec and price as follows:
- AORUS 15-XA (RTX 2070, 240Hz) AU$3299 (full specs here)
- AORUS 15-WA (RTX 2060, 144Hz) AU$2799 (full specs here)
- AOURS 15-SA (RTX 1660Ti, 144Hz) AU$2399 (full specs here)
