If you're a handyman, there's nothing like browsing through a hardware store on a Saturday morning, with the screws and wrenches, hammers and saws, all hanging neatly, waiting to bring the next renovation project to life.
But the time to stroll down the aisles is hard to come by, and with this in mind, West Australian tool supply company, Transquip Direct, has launched its online tool shop located at http://www.transquip.com.au.
Nearly a year in development, the site includes over a thousand tools which can be searched through a broad range of categories. According to the company, the site is targeted at everyone from home handymen, to outback mining giants.
Product categories include airtools, sockets, spanners, hydraulic, power tools, toolkits, hand tools and tool boxes. All the products are clearly illustrated, with a pricing table indicating the retail price versus Transquip's pricing including and excluding tax. Also included is a "specials" page with further reductions on prices.
"In the majority of situations the products are shipped directly from the manufacturer to your front door," said Edward Roose, Transquip business manager. He adds that Australia Post delivers the products to remote or international locations.
