Twitter is the social networking phenomenon that allows people to express what nobody else cares about in 140 characters or less and share it with the unsuspecting masses. It's like Facebook, minus all the things that make Facebook useful and entertaining. Lil Twist is a prepubescent rapper who was found similarly to Lil Bow Wow at a live performance and then picked up by hip hop star, Lil Wayne (why is everyone so 'little'?) Being so young (somewhere between eight and 16) means his life experience is limited to playing with his dog, sleeping in and being told off by his mother. So that is all his tweets are about. Yet he still amasses the followers. But hey — what's more gangsta than getting woken up by your mother with a bucket of water?

While Lindsay may be at the fore, her dad, Michael Lohan, is not far behind. He was recently embroiled in an online stoush with celebrity gossip reporter Perez Hilton. In his multitude of tweeting rants, Michael referred to Perez’s love of "sausage" making him prone to "AIDS!"
