Kogan has today announced that it has expanded its range of Agora products to include a network video streamer, a 7in tablet and two 12in laptops.

The products will be available to Australian consumers through Kogan's LivePrice system, which means that dispatch won't be immediate and that the price of the products may be higher closer to the shipping date.

At launch, Kogan is selling the Agora Internet TV Portal Internet streamer for $149, the Agora 7in Tablet PC for $139, and the Agora 11.6in netbooks for $299 (or $319 for the pro version). All products have a dispatch date of 27 May 2011.

The TV Portal will run the Android 2.2 (Froyo) operating system, and will allow users to access Facebook and Twitter apps, as well as regular Web sites. It will have access to the Android Market, so that more apps for it can be downloaded and an optional keyboard with built-in touchpad will be available to make it easier to use.

In a press release statement today, Ruslan Kogan said "Everyone can now watch what they want, when they want. They can stream movies from content providers across the globe including YouTube, Ustream, and any website with video. They can browse the web, chat to their friends on social media, share and view photos, movies and music, and even play games like Angry Birds on their TV!".

Furthermore, using a free Android app, the TV Portal will be able to stream movies and music off computers on a local area network. Kogan says it has tested this with the TVersity app.

The 390g, 7in Tablet PC will run Android 2.2 and it will be based on a 1GHz Samsung Cortex A8 CPU, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage. It will be expandable via a MicroSD card slot.

The two laptops will also run on free software: Linux Ubuntu 11.04. Both will run a 1.2GHz Intel Celeron M SU2300 ultra low-voltage CPU, which is a two-year old CPU that has two cores and Hyper-Threading. The standard and pro versions of the laptops will differ in their RAM and hard drive offerings, with the standard version having 1GB of DDR2 SDRAM and a 250GB hard drive, and the pro version having 2GB of DDR2 SDRAM and a 500GB hard drive.

More details on the products can be seen at Kogan's Web site.
