Avoid the ads

In some cases there are technical ways to get around the advertisements that pop up, but to my mind, if that is what keeps the service free we are only shooting ourselves in the foot to remove them - and it beats paying. If you are lucky enough to have a large computer monitor, or even two monitors, you can easily move the ad box to a corner of the screen where it won't bother you too much. Of the free ISPs that use an advertisement box, on average the ads take up only 7-9 per cent of screen space - not a lot. You may even find there are some neat things on the ad box, too, and come to like it.
