The best smartphones with a full HD screen
2013 has become the year of the full HD smartphone. Whereas most of last years flagship devices paraded screens with a 720p resolution, the top line models in 2013 all feature a full HD, 1080p display.
The resolution of these screens is 1920x1080, which in most cases results in a pixel density of well over 400ppi. The end result should mean screens that make it impossible to distinguish individual pixels on the display without using a magnifying glass.
We round-up the best smartphones with full HD screens, including flagship models like the Samsung Galaxy S4, the HTC One and the Sony Xperia Z.

10 / 10
The HTC Butterfly's 5in, full HD screen is a marvel and its thin design quickly becomes appreciated. However, poor battery life, some odd ergonomics and HTC's tired Sense UI are all letdowns. Add a lack of 4G to that and we'd advise you give this one a miss.
