Tidal has announced the launch of the Tidal app for Samsung Wearable Devices.
Tidal members with Samsung’s latest Galaxy Watch, Gear Sport, Gear S3, Gear S2 and fitness bands including Gear Fit2 Pro and Gear Fit2 will now be able to use a custom user interface that offers an integrated small screen experience.
An ‘Explore’ section features dynamic editorial content and a search function. Via ‘Explore’, users will be able to tap into Tidal’s catalogue of over 59 million tracks and curated playlists. The ‘My Collection’ screen allows users to access their favourite content.
Users will have the ability to download content for offline use, view the play queue and skip between upcoming tracks.
“Our continued partnership with Samsung allows users to have a best-in-class streaming experience across all devices,” said Lior Tibon, Tidal Chief Operating Officer. “Each device’s interface is customised with accessibility and ease of use, and we know Tidal will seamlessly integrate into user’s everyday lives.”
Tidal is available now on all current generation Samsung Wearable devices as well as Samsung Smart TVs. Tidal is also compatible with Android Auto, Amazon Fire TV, Apple TV, Apple CarPlay, direct control with Sonos and more.
