The Dell Streak and the Samsung Galaxy Tab are two of the first tablet devices launched in Australia that are set to compete directly with Apple's iPad. Despite inevitable comparisons to the iPad, both the Dell Streak and the Samsung Galaxy Tab have key differences with Apple's tablet. In addition to much smaller footprints — the Dell Streak has a 5in screen while the Samsung Galaxy Tab has a 7in display — both of these Android tablets are also capable of making phone calls, even if this is not the primary function of either device.
